I know that it's a volunteer army, so prioritization for implementation of features is a lot to ask ....

On my posting on July 1, I had wished for this feature, and received a reply that we might see multi-select by September.

I don't use the automated cleanup (because I want to save some old entries from a few feeds), so I finally decided to do some manual cleanup. For one feed, I selected in the news list pane, and deleted one by one. As an experiment, I pressed the delete button 150 times -- to see what would happen -- and the deletes queued up. After about 4 minutes, control returned to the screen, and yes, the deletes had happened.

Of course, this would be easier if I could just do a multi-select and then delete!

Sorry for the delay. I had a job change lately and can't spend as much time on GreatNews as I hoped. Now GreatNews has been migrated to a new platform which streamlines my working environment quite a bit. Hopefully we will see new features roll out quicker than 2006. Thanks for your patience!
