Thanks for the username/password thing.

To make the database update less scary still, can you just do it automatically - there's no reason the user should have to click to do it - why would they ever NOT update the db if they just installed a new version?

I'd just do it, saving a backup of their old db, and then start GreatNews automatically. They can close it if they want - how often do you install something and then not run it?

because some update processes can take a while to finish. If I do it automatically this forum will be flooded with users complaining GreatNews is dead at starting up...

I'm not saying do nothing, still put up that dialog where the button is now, but (effectively) press the button for them - so it will have the progress bar going or whatever, and they can see it's doing things, but they don't have to do anything about it - it will just start when it's done.

My 2c :)

You are doing a great job btw - thanks once again for this reader.

Nice one! I loe the function that if there is no feed with new items go back to main page without that annoyng message.

Would be nice if as switching from a folder to another navigating throught the nex link in feeds, when u go back to main page automatically, if a folder was expanded it will be collapsed too leaving the left panel clean.

Yes, it should be in the way you described! I will try to fix it in next build.
