I have all of the options to mark feeds/items "as read" turned off as I like to manually mark things as read. Yet, I still get items or entire feeds marked as read while paging through the display in the browser pane.

It's possible that this has already been reported, but I didn't see anything in my quick scan of this forum.

Try Tools->Options->Reading, select Mark current page as read automatically after 0 seconds. This should work.

OK, that works.... I wasn't sure what the other option "Interactively" was supposed to do.

Thanks.

The wording is a little bit misleading. "Interactively" option makes items as read according to certain user actions. I should have made it the 3rd option that "never mark read automatically"
