Configure Mouse Button

Postby Obelix » Wed Sep 24, 2008 2:42 am

Hi!

i am really new to GN (have it installed for 20 minutes :) )

i really like this work very much! the only thing i would like to have is to get the middle-mouse (=wheel) click configured as left click.

can someone tell me if its possible (and how)?

thanks
Achim

It's a bit unusual...GreatNews doesn't have this configuration. But you can try if your mouse driver can let you switch left and middle buttons?

hmm...
i do not want to change the buttons in generally.
what i would like is a config, for which feed to show the HTML by clicking on the list entry, and for which feed the news-view is enough

seems to be a whish... it seems not to be implemented (yet)

for example:
on my favorite programming news CodeProject i would like the see the HTML at clicking the left mouse button. despite from that on regular news (cnn or whatever) the news-view is enough

regards
Achim

look at Autohotkey - lets you do this sort of thing with reasonable ease (after original learning curve)
