this and the new favicon support are awesome :D, it would be nice if you would support the windows f2 shortcut to re-name stuff though ;)

ALT+D to go into viewing pane address bar

GN is the best RSS agg i have used. Consider following as feature requests that will make it even better for me (and hopefully others as well)

1. ALT+D is a std shortcut to go to browser's address bar. Having this shortcut in GN will be a great addition

2. ALT+S for going to the search box will be awesome as well (or may be a customizable keyboard shortcut menu if i can ask too much :-) )

3. Using scroll to turn pages works only for the first time (going from page 1 to 2). After that it doest work. Having CTRL+scroll (or any other combo) to go to the next page would be one way to solve this issue

am getting runtime errors with this version

am also getting runtime errors with this version, seemingly at random, where the program will just crash, and display the runtime error dialogue box with no further information on what caused the crash.

This sounds very bad. Which version did you upgrade from? What was the steps you use to make it crash?

1. sounds good. I will try to implement in next several builds.
2. Alt+S is probably used for other purpose frequently. You can use CTRL+H to set the focus
3. Can you try clicking in the 2nd page and scroll again, see if it helps?

Yes I do want to support renaming channel/group on the tree. Probably after the "Track Comments" feature.

This is first time I heard GreatNews crashes regularly. I'm very interested in finding the cause. What action were you doing when it crashed? I guess the easiest way reproduce this is to get your newsfeed.db and greatnews.ini file and try them in my environment. If that's not possible, can you export your channel subscriptions? Thanks,

352 just crashed on me again, this time i can see whats happening, as the program is frozen until i dismiss the error dialog box.

the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library dialog box says
"Runtime Error!

Program: c:\Program Files\GreatNews\GreatNews.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way
Please contact the applications support team for more information"

I had 2 tabs open with the pages fully loaded, and 2 tabs with pages loading in them when it crashed. dont have much more info than that.

i will contact u via email to discuss how to transfer my newsfeed.db and greatnews.ini files to you.

ive got a feeling it might just be due to me running the app on a low spec machine (500mhz cpu/512Mb ram) alongside quite a few other applications at the same time. i should probably upgrade my pc

just had another crash, this time, my pc wasnt heavily loadred with
applications, cpu usage was low and so was memory usage, though the
application crashed in the exact same way as before (build 352)

jiminy, I got your emails. Please check my reply. I might need additional information from you, like OS version/service pack/IE version etc. And do you remember since which version GreatNews starts crashing regularly?

Thanks,

Jack
