I think there's something wrong on your end, not on the software itself. I'm using GreatNews at 1600x1200 and my font doesn't look even half as bad as that, mine is perfectly readable. Take a look:

readable, yes - but only just!

Hmmm... the Channels and News Items lists both look pretty bad in your screen shot. I haven't seen anything like that in GN and I am running at 2800x1050, spread across two monitors.

Perhaps the problem is a missing font on your system? I'm not sure what font is used in these two panes exactly, probably MS San Serif. Are nay other apps displaying this sympton?

I did change this part of code to fix some display issue on high resolution screen. Maybe I screwed up lower resolution screen this time. I will do some test later.

DivinoAG, seems my fix worked! :D

mkizer, wow! I don't even know GreatNews works on dual screen!

Yip, works fine... I haven't had too many apps with issues actually. Dual monitors are so useful once you get the hang of using them. I have GN open on one and all links open in a new browser window on the other... :)

of course the small type in the image above is the "read" items rather than random

Thanks for the screenshots. I made some change in Build 350. Can you check if it fixes this font problem?

You might try deleting C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\GDIPFONTCACHEV1.DAT and rebooting. Another idea is to reset your Display Theme to Windows standard. More likely you have a corrupt font tho i think. Try copying MS Sans Serif over from another computer. SSERIFE.FON in Windows\Fonts folder. It looks to me like its showing you 6point type instead of 8point type like it should be (and that unread/bold items are).

Hello,

How is the "email this" link supposed to work ?

I'm using lotus notes as my email system and what I get is a new message open with this sentence (example) in the object : "TSXLES120/200, Remote Electrical I/O&body=http://planet.schneider-electric.com/C1256F0F00560FDB/All/C1256EDE0038AFB2C12570C800386103"

I do have to comments :

1- why put the title and &body in this string
2- is there a limitation to number of characters ? it seems the link is not complete.

Do I do anything wrong ?

Regards

It supposes to generate an email with subject set to "TSXLES120/200, Remote Electrical I/O", and content set to "http://planet.schneider-electric.com/C1256F0F00560FDB/All/C1256EDE0038AFB2C12570C800386103"

It seems Lotus Notes doesn't understand the "body=" parameter? Can you tell which version of Notes you are using?
