Wow. This is fast! Thanks KTM. I will publish your release out this weekend. I haven't thought about how to coordinate efforts - GreatNews was a pet project... But it won't be very efficient if we have many different branches of GreatNews flying around. Ideally we can have a centralized source code ...

New board for GreatNews development

I just created a new board on this forum dedicated for GreatNews development. The GreatNews source code is released under GPL license and can be found on that board.

So what will be the first GreatNews new feature released from open source community? :)

The complete source code of GreatNews can be downloaded here: http://www.curiostudio.com/misc/GreatNews1.0.385.7z

The source code is realized under GPL license. Of course all libraries included in GreatNews remain their original license types.

This is a workaround. But if you achieve a large amount of data, GreatNews will become slow to respond.

You don't need to have an admin account to run GreatNews. Just unzip GreatNews into a folder, and run from there.

The data are stored in newsfeed.db file. You can search hard driver to see if you have more than one copy of this file...
