Just wanted to say thank you. After using Feeddemon for 3 years, I switched to Greatnews, and I won't change. Compared to FD and others, GN is fast, simple to use and flexible presentation styles.

Dont fix what isn't broken

369 is great. I have tried every reader out there, and was a faithful Feeddemon user for years, until I switched to GN a few months ago. I veered off and tried a few others, but stayed with GN. Its simple, & fast - my advice is not to lose that.

Memory is not a problem with GreatNews

Greatnews has no memory issues. Firefox, & Feeddemon are another story, and both have memory leakage.

I find GN sits at 50 - 60K consistently. Thats with 500 feeds +/-

automated versus manual prioity

I thnk that last post summed it up. In general the total view of all feeds is also very appealing as an option. This gets closer to Winers 'river of news' theory. http://www.reallysimplesyndication.com/riverOfNews

Logic for prioritisation

 My thoughts are these; I don't know if this is programmable, but its focussed on the readers real habits, which may be different than what they believe. 1) frequency of read 2) frequency of labeling PS.. thanks for listening. Fabulous product. I have not gone back to Feeddemon, and I was a lo...

Suggestion: organise feeds by priority, not alpha

First of all the interface and speed have made me an instant fan, having been using Feeddemon for 3 years. One thing I am still looking for is the ability to alter the order of feeds. Currently they are alphabetic, and I have to make channel group names like 111Daily, so that its at the front of wha...
