Can you give us a timeframe for fixing the bug which causes items to repeat when non-standard characters occur in the title please? This is the biggest annoyance of GN right now for me; I'm spending way too much time navigating feeds which are showing new items that aren't new. Every time I see a ne...

Re: [Suggestion]Labels, other ideas & convention query

A query now. This is more a personal preference but it bugs me a bit that feeds are referred to as channels. The same goes for calling tags labels. I know this is picky and perhaps a bit silly, but I just like to have a standard name for certain items across programs. Could there be an option to re...

Still having the problem with titles including commas, quote-marks, ellipses etc. Any chance of that being fixed sometime soon? It's very frustrating.

I tried to subscribe yesterday, but it wouldn't let me. This morning, it lets me subscribe. There must have been an issue with the feed.

Re: Expand and Collapse options not fully functional

I've noticed a bug though. When you right click in the white space of the channel view (where the tree is) you get three options with regards to expanding and collapsing the tree nodes, and they ll work. However if you right click on the "All News Channels" root node and try to use the same options...

Just to confirm that it does indeed seem to be the case that all the feed items that come back over and over have characters in their titles such as apostrophes, ellipses or quote-marks.

It's not consistent though - some feed items with those characters don't recur.

I noticed it was very slow a few times in the last couple of days. It's not usually like that.

Banji may have hit on something here. Of the first three feed items that are "repeating" for me, only one has an apostrophe, but the others each has an ellipsis ("...")

I'll keep an eye on anything else that returns and report back.

I've only run cleanup once - and yes, it did download a lot of items again afterwards (which it really shouldn't), but that's not the issue here. I was having this problem before I ran cleanup, and I'm still having it now.

Are you getting anywhere with this? I'm still having problems with it. I've found that *sometimes* unsubscribing from that feed and re-subscribing works - but usually it doesn't. I've got one post from Google Sightseeing that I'm getting tired of seeing. I've given up on my local Craigslist because ...

I'm assuming you're still talking about the Flickr badge here. Yes, it will update itself as you load more pictures, as long as you choose the option to use the newest photos only (in step 3 of creating your badge). It doesn't answer your questions about rss in general, of course, but I hope it help...

For Flickr - you can create a Flickr badge for your page and do it without needing RSS at all. You choose how many pictures, their size, styling etc, and tell Flickr whether you want to use pictures with a certain tag or a certain group of pictures or all your pictures or just the newest ones, then ...

Hm, okay, it seems I glanced at the options too quickly and didn't understand them. What I'd like to do is have a choice, when I click on a link in the internal browser, between opening it in GN and opening it in Firefox. The option to "open in new window" doesn't do a thing here (even with the addi...
