There are several options that can mark read during channel switching. But it shouldn't matter "All News Channels" selected or not. If you want I can take a look at your newsfeed.ini file, then I can learn what should happen according to your settings. Did you get my files by email or discover anyt...

Found a bug: when i click on a channel with unread items, click on All News Channels, then click on any channel, the first channel i clicked has all its items marked read. At least for me. I can click around all i want and not have this happen, if i avoid clicking on All News Channels.

XP. I tried deleting all the feeds, closeing, adding them again, same problem. Looking at the source code on the ones that are bad, the lesserthan/greaterthan html entities are in the code. So for some reason its converting them to entities instead of leaving them as is.

Well it wasn't a permanent fix. Happening again. .359 official didn't help either. Looks like that did it. Not retroactively, but new posts appear to be HTML free!

HTML showing up in news posts for Boing Boing feed

Using: http://boingboing.net/rss.xml some of the posts show up with html in the post, such as: <strong>Mark Frauenfelder</strong>: <img src="http://www.boingboing.net/Picture%202-45.jpg" height="68" width="323" border="0" align="left" hspace="4" vspace="4" alt="Picture 2-45" /> <a href="http://www.f...

If you must. I'm not a fan of program features that can't be found unless you know they're there. Your rightclick menu isn't that big, I don't see why it can't be visible all the time, like most other RSS programs. But if you insist, its certainly better than nothing.

I didn't click Mark All Read, I just click Mark Read when the group was selected. So maybe you could (optionally) ask for confirmation when you try mark a group read?

Yes, but then i have to view either all of the feeds or just one, not just the feeds with unread items.

Still hoping for a mass "... Also improving the statistics would be nice i'd like to know how many feeds i am monitoring. The number of feeds you have is shown at the top of the channels tree on the left. You can also rightclick on a group and select Properties to see how many channels are in it.

What about Mark Unread options? Rightclick Mark Unread on feeds/groups would be fairly easy to do I'd assume? I know you've talked about multiple item selection being a pain, but that would work too.

Features to correct my stupidity (undo/bulk mark unread)

The other day I accidentally hit Mark All Read while I had my main folder selected. Marking about 300 items as read that weren't :( And of course some of those feeds i was caught up on, so i had to wade through those as well. Finally moved the ones I was caught up on out of the folder, went on a bin...
