Call me a n00b, but how can I change it so if I click a link in Great News it launches Mozilla - not MSIE?

more troubleshooting

I have since found that if I highlight the top branch of the feeds and select 'Mark All as Read' from there - that that will reset it, but doing that from the very top 'All News Channels' or from the System Tray Icon menu does not reset the new post indicator.

When you put mouse cursor over the tray icon, what does the tooltips say?

Is there any workaround to avoid this problem? I can't live without right notifications on the tray! :D TIA Matteo This bug will be fixed in next build. If you really don't want to wait, I uploaded a work in progress at http://www.curiostudio.com/nightly0.336 This is not the real build 336. It's th...

New Post indicator stays on after items read

The new post icon in the System Tray remains after all posts have been viewed.

Even selecting Mark All As Read does not reset it.

I updated using the fully automated update this morning to version 1.0.0.334 Data File version 1.0.0.96

Small world indeed!

Here is the URL for the feed...

http://www.flickr.com/groups_feed.gne?i ... at=rss_200

mind you, it won't work now, as the group is private. Even though I'm an admin of the group, I can't enlist new members - that is handled by another admin.

Suggestion: adding UserID/Password parameters to feeds?

I belong to a group on Flickr that just recently went 'private' on the threads - now I can't see them using this reader.

Any chance to make it so it could 'log in' with stored UserID/password info?

Improper shutdown when using System Restart or Shutdown

I searched the forum, but couldn't find this reported already. I'm sure it has though - I just couldn't find it. When I use the Start > Shutdown > Restart option, I always get a warning message next time I open Great News to the effect of 'Great News did not shut down properly last time -- now reset...
