24 Hour Time Format In Date Column

Anyone who is interested in having the time displayed in 24 hour format, please add the following two lines at the bottom of GreatNews.ini: [Advanced] ShowTimeIn24Hr=Y so it will look something like this: http://img70.imageshack.us/img70/9158/01112009095440hg1.png Ver. 1.0.0.384 is required, at leas...

Just redownloaded now. Same result, the time on all my feeds is still shown with AM/PM. Maybe the spelling is not correct:

ShowTimeIn24Hr=Y

At the very least there should be an option to turn that off.

What about a hidden flag in GreatNews.ini. I'm still on v379 and it works like a charm.

Oops, this comment probably won't work in GN if it's in C++

/* default font-size was 110% */

Another way to code font-size, I think:

font-size: 60%;
etc.

In case you are not aware of this, you can add your own remarks to "c" code:

font-size: 60%; // default was 110%

or

/* default font-size was 110% */
font-size: 60%;

This style was created some time ago. Are there any changes needed in the code to be compatible with v1.0.0.376?

In the download ZIP look at the file with extension CSS. Just put this file in

\GreatNews\Media

Some developers don't provide a CSS file but just the programming code. In that case create a new TXT file, paste the code, save the file to any name.CSS and put it in Media folder.

Do We Need IE7

I don't care much about IE, using Opera for the last ten years and Firefox for those few websites that don't work properly in Opera. Are there going to be any compatibility issues if I don't upgrade my IE6 to IE7? I don't open any pages inside GreatNews (they are all opened in external browser only)...

1) Change font: I don't see it either; wait for Jack's answer

2) Mark as unread: right-click on the headline - mark as unread

No Favicons

This is great option, please keep it in future releases:

GreatNews.ini

[Advanced]
NoFavicons=1

I've just got rid of all favicons and like it much better that way. The feed pane looks neat and well organized.

Great. If double-clicking has the same functionality as Enter then I would also suggest to change this line in Options to:

"Double clicking or Enter in news list should open web pages in"

Disabling tabbed browsing just turns off multiple tabs. When you hit Enter by mistake the page will still open inside GN (rendered by IE). Turning off IE works fine for the mouse, but I belong to those who mostly use the keyboard. In RssOwl, when the option "use external browser" is enabled, hitting...
