Feed slows on updates (irrespective of actual new posts)

Guys,

is anybody able to help out?

I have a forum feed from a site.
I add it to Greatnews.
At the start the updating is fine - around 30 news come in, being the last posts on the whole site.

Then later the frequency fades and the feed only updates once an hour or so (irregularly) getting ~1 or 2 news (posts), even when there were 5 or 20 in the last hour.

Have you had such a feed already somewhere?

The address (though foreign for 99% of you) is http://zatrolene-hry.cz/rss-diskuse.rss.php
I ran the Feed validator and gave the feed no negatives or errors.

I'm not sure I understood what you mean correctly, so I'm gonna cover the basics here:

What's "Feed properties" - "Settings" - "Auto Update Frequency" set to? Does setting it to a lower value help?

Getting "irregular updates" implies there's been an error, so GN tries again a couple of minutes later (since otherwise they're all regular). Is there any kind of error shown (Tree item shows up in red)?

This happens irrespective of the Update Frequency setting. I usually set it to default (15 mins) or I set it to 5 mins if I wish to.

Other feeds do not show this problem.

And no error is shown on this feed either in GN.

Perhaps someone could try to add the feed to their GN and test for me...?

Do you eventually get the feeds later in the session, or later in the day ? The website
might have a delay in sending them to you ? You can't receive the feeds if they are not
ready to be sent. Probably investigate that next.

Hello,

On your screen, bottom left side, does it ever say "update feed failed"
or "1 feed failed" or something like that ? What does it say down there
when you try to auto update this feed ?

Nope.

It behaves as if no new entries were posted in the meantime (which is incorrect of course) - "0 updates from feed".

Well if it went in there and tried and failed it should say so.
Mine always has 2 or 3 fail, and then later in the day they
activate when they are ready with new feeds. They actually
turn the feed off, load feeds, and turn it back on again. Some
que delay is my only guess. Try sending them an email and ask
if they are loading feeds before enabling the RSS transmission
to activate then.
